Passion fruit syrup is a sugar syrup flavoured with the juice of passion fruit, also known as maracuja. It can be bought ready-made or prepared at home. It tastes sweet, tropical and fragrant, with the fruit's typical acidity. It is one of the syrups of Donn Beach's tiki tradition, and in the Don's Special Daiquiri it joins honey syrup, lime and two rums.
