Donn's Mix is a blend of two parts white grapefruit juice to one part cinnamon syrup, made by simmering cinnamon sticks in sugar and water. It was one of the secret ingredients of Donn Beach, founder of the Don the Beachcomber bars, and was decoded by tiki historian Jeff Berry. It tastes citrusy, slightly bitter and spiced. It appears in the original 1930s Zombie and in other rum-based tiki drinks.
