Green grapes
- Fresh
- Non-alcoholic
Green grapes are the fruit of green-skinned varieties of Vitis vinifera, the vine domesticated in the Middle East several thousand years ago; most table grapes today are seedless. The berries are juicy and sweet, with gentle acidity and a light tannic touch from the skin. In cocktails seedless grapes are muddled in the shaker, as in the Enzoni, where they replace the sweet vermouth of the Negroni and a single grape serves as garnish.
