Honey syrup
- Syrups
- Non-alcoholic
Honey syrup is honey thinned with hot water so it can be measured and mixed easily into cold cocktails. There is no single ratio: the most cited are one part honey to one part water and two parts honey to one part water, while some prefer three to one to keep more body. Its flavour depends on the honey used, from floral to darker and more intense. It sweetens the Bee's Knees, the Don's Special Daiquiri and the Missionary's Downfall.
