Orange
- Fresh
- Non-alcoholic
The sweet orange (Citrus × sinensis) is a hybrid of pomelo and mandarin that arose in an area spanning southern China, north-eastern India and Myanmar; it is distinct from the bitter orange. The flesh is sweet and juicy, while the peel holds an essential oil rich in limonene. Here the fruit is meant, not the juice: in the Sherry Cobbler two or three orange slices are muddled with sugar and shaken with the sherry, and more wheels decorate the glass.
