Peach brandy
- Liqueurs
- Alcoholic
In cocktail recipes, peach brandy almost always means a sweet peach liqueur, made from brandy or flavoured spirit and sweetened, stronger than ordinary crème de pêche. The name, however, comes from an old American spirit distilled from fermented peaches, dry and aged, now revived by small distilleries. The flavour recalls ripe and preserved peach over a warm brandy base. In the Missionary's Downfall it joins rum, mint, pineapple and lime.
Strength: usually 30% ABV (legal minimum 15%).
Used in 1 cocktail.
