Pisco is a grape brandy made in Peru and Chile, two countries that both claim its origin and each protect it with their own appellation and rules. It is made by distilling grape wine or must, often from muscat-type varieties, in copper stills. It can be clear and lively, with fruit, floral and sometimes hay-like notes, or more rustic; the Peruvian style is not aged in wood. In cocktails it is the base of drinks such as the Pisco Sour and the Pisco Punch.

Strength: usually 40% ABV.

Used in 2 cocktails.
