Drambuie is a Scottish liqueur made from aged Scotch whisky, heather honey, herbs and spices to a closely guarded recipe. Tradition ties it to Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Isle of Skye, though the origin story is partly legend. On the palate it is velvety and amber, with honey, clove, saffron and citrus over a gentle malty bite. In cocktails it is best known for the Rusty Nail, where it is paired with Scotch.

Strength: usually 40% ABV (legal minimum 15%).
