Rusty Nail
Whisky and honey, warmly.
Just two ingredients: Scotch whisky and Drambuie, the Scottish liqueur built on whisky, honey and herbs. The result is a smooth, warming sip in which honeyed sweetness rounds off the character of the malt.

The story
Origins
ProbableA plausible account, without definitive proof.
Historians trace the pairing of Scotch and Drambuie to 1937, when a drink called the B.I.F. was served at the British Industries Fair, although it also contained bitters. Another story, without supporting evidence, places its birth in 1942 at a Hawaiian bar for the artist Theodore Anderson; others credit the bartenders of New York's 21 Club. The name Rusty Nail took hold in the 1950s and 1960s, when Drambuie itself began endorsing the drink. A recipe under that name, in equal parts, appears in the 1967 Old Mr. Boston Bartender's Guide.
