Mandarin juice
- Juices
- Non-alcoholic
Mandarin juice is pressed from the fruit of Citrus reticulata, a small, thin-skinned citrus whose peel comes away easily, native to eastern Asia. Tangerines belong to the same species. Compared with orange it tastes sweeter and more intense. Recipes mean freshly squeezed juice, which brings sweetness, colour and a soft citrus fragrance, as in the Puccini, which pairs it with prosecco and is popular in Venice and northern Italy.
