Sparkling wine
- Wines & bubbles
- Alcoholic
Sparkling wine is wine made effervescent by a first or second fermentation, which leaves carbon dioxide in the closed bottle at a pressure of at least 3 bar. It is produced in many countries, either in the bottle by the traditional method or in pressure tanks by the Martinotti method: Champagne, Prosecco, Cava and Crémant are among its members. Styles run from bone-dry brut nature to sweet and aromatic. In cocktails it lengthens and refreshes, as in the Negroni Sbagliato and the Russian Spring Punch.
Used in 2 cocktails.
