White crème de cacao
- Liqueurs
- Alcoholic
White crème de cacao is a sweet cocoa liqueur, clear because it is made from a distillate of cocoa beans, without any colouring infusion. Compared with the dark version it tastes more delicate, recalling milk chocolate, with a smooth texture from the sugar. Like other European crèmes it is very sweet. It is valuable whenever a drink needs chocolate flavour without turning brown, as in the Grasshopper, the Golden Cadillac and the Chocolate Martini.
Strength: usually 24% ABV (legal minimum 15%).
Used in 3 cocktails.
