Lime juice

Lime juice

  • Juices
  • Non-alcoholic

The lime juice generally used comes from the Persian lime, a seedless hybrid of key lime and lemon and the type most familiar in Europe, America and Australia. The smaller, thin-skinned key lime has a more intense aroma. Lime has an acidity similar to lemon's, but makes a drink taste drier. Recipes mean freshly squeezed juice, as in the Bacardi Cocktail, the Banana Daiquiri and the Blue Hawaiian.
